Frequently asked questions.

Can you design just one room?

Absolutely, we work on all different size projects from 1 room makeovers to full house redesign. We have some light touch design services suitable for smaller projects if you don’t need full bespoke design.

which design service is right for me?

If you’re looking to completely transform your home and with a more hands on approach where we will walk you through the whole design process and help you liaise with tradespeople, we will do all of the procurement giving you access to trade discounts*. Making sure the pressure and stress is no longer on your head, while we do all the hard work for you - then our bespoke design service is best for you.

If you’d like a little bit of hand holding and need help with designing your space but are happy to source the products and do the work yourself then I would suggest our room refresh, a simplified, smaller scale of our bespoke design service.

Or lastly, we offer a light touch service with our simple design colour consultation - ideal if for one room and best if you have some idea of what you would like but just need some advice on how to bring it all together along with some suggestions.

we are overwhelmed with the choice of designers, why should we hire you?

We have been lucky enough to work on some really great projects of all differing sizes and locations. If you have had a chance to browse our website and social media platforms you will see how we have transformed so many varied spaces over the years. We know there is a plethora of designers to select from and we want you to know you are in safe hands when choosing us. A crucial step to our design process is getting to know you, what you love and what you don’t, how you live etc. so we can ensure the design is not just pretty but practical too, this is key to great design! Working with an interior designer in your home can be a lengthy process and it is important that you choose someone you get along with, and can see yourself reflected in their style. We take the time to get to know you so that we can ensure that your design has meaning and that it works perfectly well for your lifestyle.

do you work with all design styles?

We’d love to say yes, but there’s a very good reason we don’t. We hope that after looking at our portfolio of work on our website and social media platforms that you can gage our design style - if not it’s what we like to describe as Luxury classic contemporary design, what this means is we focus on a luxury modern look while trying to keep it classic to ensure the design is timeless and doesn’t date as quick, we don’t want you investing your hard earned money on a scheme that will need updating in a year because it’s no longer “trendy”. The reason we don’t offer an open design style is simply because not only does it not fit our brand, we wouldn’t be doing it justice - simply put if we were to create a scheme we don’t naturally love we would not design it with the passion and enthusiasm that it deserves, so by us working this way we can ensure that each and every project we work on is designed to the best of our ability.

do you work with any size budget?

To ensure our clients receive our best creative energy, our attention to detail and our expertise for our bespoke design service we do have a minimum engagement level of £5,000 and a minimum spend for procurement* - the reason for this is so that we can create the design to the level required for a luxury finish. Our smaller light touch projects don’t have a minimum budget but must fall within our pricing guide.

at what stage in the design process should i hire you?

The earlier the better. It’s best that we are hired as soon as soon as you’ve decided you are going to be designing you home, if you are working with an architect for the building works then we recommend you hire us at the same time so we can work alongside them and to ensure the layout is the best for what is needed within the design, this gives us the opportunity to influence door and window placements, radiators etc. so that when we are deeper into the design we aren’t having to work around them. We don’t necessarily need to be involved in every meeting with the architect but it helps that we are on the same page and that we can communicate, the more engaged we are the smoother the process.

Equally if you’re working on a smaller project i.e. one room I would still very much recommend that we are hired as early as possible, it helps if we are involved from the beginning to get the best results out of the design.
